A Slight Ray Of Sunshine (posted:6/28/08)

I just got off of the phone with the dealership for our home. He said that we should not be concerned about the 2 week period for securing financing (as mentioned in my previous post), because we are already pre-approved for the loan. So, we have ALREADY secured financing….whew!

We still have to work on getting the lien removed. As far as I understand, that is the very last hurdle that we have to cross before we can actually close on the home. The dealer even said that he would see if we could close on the loan BEFORE the lien was removed (I doubt it….but here’s to hoping).

So I feel better. Perhaps….just perhaps there is a little glimmer of light at the end of this hellish tunnel.

Here’s to hoping that the rest of my day goes smoothly. The boss lady is supposed to be back to work tomorrow, so I can relinquish my term in the driver’s seat. I hope that everyone enjoys their Saturday. I will try to post again tonight if I can. If not, I will definitely post tomorrow.
