Finally, A Day Off!!! (Posted: 8/9/08)
I am so glad that I have had the day off work today. I just got back from a work seminar that was out of town. It was a really good meeting and I am glad that I got to attend, but I am now oh-so-tired.
Before my trip, I had worked a 7 day stretch. So, I was ready for a day that on which I could sleep late. I was also really behind on doing some things here at the house.
I slept late this morning. After I woke up, I had my morning cup of coffee and hung around the house some with the boys. I went to the store to get some groceries (since we were so low on food) and stopped by the pet store to pick up some more food for the boys.
I came home, put things away, surfed online for a bit and started dinner. Marcus had actually made a pot of pinto beans the night that I came back but we did not eat them yet. So, I made some rice to go with them and a corn casserole I got from Paula Dean. I think it will be a good meal.
After dinner, I think that we are going to go and fax some things that are needed in order to have the water and electricity hooked up to the house.
